Résumé

In the Apostolic Blessing related to this work, which was issued by the Patriarch Cardinal Mar Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir, it was mentioned the following: "We hope that your new book will receive what is worthy of prosperity, and that intellectuals and thinkers will buy it. We wish they could benefit from this great philosopher and deep thinker, the old and new saint, who is contemporary for all generations, and that this book illuminates their way and guide the generations to come, so that they can reach what they desire from the heart, and what they could not receive yet, as confirmed by Augustine, by God alone. St. Augustine's was against paganism, which was accused of being the main cause of the degeneration of the Roman Empire, and he published his greatest volume in twenty-two volumes (about 1,500 pages according to our edition) to refute, in detail, every idea that attacked Christianity from near or far. He clarified to the Christian people that their king is not from this world, and that the city of God is fortified and always victorious in the face of Rome, the earthly city of mankind.
