Every forbidden is desirable, but how do we understand that one of the books of the Bible is forbidden to read? If there is a book that has stirred up controversy and is still a cause for it, it is this poem of love, which we also do not know its author. The writer, a professor of literature and theology, tells us how the Jews and Christians read this anthem of love throughout the ages. It is not hidden from anyone that this sacred text is earthly; it did not mention any word indicating God. Are they poems of love or mysticism? Do they express human or divine love? Can we distinguish between both loves? It is the book that, when you read it, you find yourself trailing the music that accompanies you; and in our book, you will be learning its musical notes.
