Résumé

It is the final work that summarizes more than 150 years of efforts done by the Jesuit Fathers in translating the Bible into Arabic. This version of the Bible is characterized by the entries accompanying each book, as well as the footnotes at the foot of the pages that help the reader understanding the meanings. In the margins of the pages, i.e. the paragraphs and verses, there are numbers that lead the reader to the references available in the book. If he wants to look at any of the verses, he can refer to the equivalent verses, whether in the book he is reading or in the other books.
